Plant Engineering

As part of a plant engineering project in Vorarlberg, we carried out the precise measurement of a base frame and a machine foundation structure. A 3D laser tracker and a tactile measuring arm were used to capture a wide range of geometries with accuracy down to hundredths of a millimeter. Flatness, parallelism, distances, concentricity, and roundness of numerous component areas were inspected.

 

By combining both measurement technologies, we were able to accurately measure large-scale structures as well as fine details. The high-precision analysis provides a reliable basis for quality assurance and ensures that all components can be manufactured and assembled within the specified tolerances.
