Mobile Racking System

As part of a project in Freiburg, we used our high-precision 3D laser tracker metrology to align rails for mobile racking systems within tolerances of only a few millimeters. The exact determination of parallelism and the precise distance between the rails is essential to ensure smooth and reliable warehouse operation.

 

Our fast and efficient method enables the acquisition of highly accurate measurement data, significantly increasing the quality of rail alignment. Through the precise adjustment of all relevant parameters, a consistently high level of quality can be ensured. The procedure represents a practical example of modern measurement technology for demanding industrial applications.
