Generator Measurement – Uganda
As part of an international project, our team carried out the measurement of an electrical generator at the Nalubaale Power Station in Uganda. The objective was the precise capture and characterization of the roundness of the stator and rotor – a key factor for the generator’s efficiency.
Particular challenges arose due to the large dimensions of hydroelectric power plant equipment such as in Nalubaale. By using a high-precision laser tracker, we were able to fully measure, inspect, and graphically process the complex 3D geometry of the generator.
The project highlights our expertise in performing demanding measurement tasks under challenging conditions – worldwide and with the highest level of precision.
