Industrial Floors – Screeds
The basis for defect-free and cost-efficient interior construction is standards-compliant screeds and industrial floors – especially in plant engineering. The functionality and quality of a floor depend largely on the condition of the subfloor. Properly installed screed plays a literally load-bearing role in the execution of a wide variety of flooring systems.
With our measurement system, we can survey both screeds and industrial floors across large areas in a very short time and present the results graphically. Height profiles are analyzed with reference to elevation contours, and deviations are calculated in accordance with DIN 18202. Using our interactive floor analysis tool, developers and inspectors receive all relevant data in real time – enabling informed decisions and maximum planning reliability.
INDUSTRIAL FLOOR MEASUREMENT
Concrete industrial floors are increasingly produced as finished surfaces and are often exposed to extreme loads: traffic loads, temperature fluctuations, shrinkage, mechanical and chemical influences, as well as high point loads from forklifts or racking systems. Particularly strict requirements apply to flatness – for example in accordance with DIN 18202 or DIN 15185 for storage systems with guidance-controlled industrial trucks.
Producing such floors requires high-precision workmanship, often under significant time pressure, as subsequent trades depend on the completed surface. Quality assurance is therefore frequently neglected, even though it is essential for long-term, trouble-free operation – especially in production lines or logistics centers, where floor quality has a direct impact on economic efficiency.
Screed Measurement
Our Mobile 3D Metrology enables precise inspection measurements both during and after the installation of industrial floors. Already during construction, we establish high-accuracy reference networks that serve as the basis for exact execution. Measurements — even in very narrow aisles — are performed automatically, quickly, and with maximum accuracy. The results are presented clearly and according to your specific requirements.
In addition to measurement services, we also support inspectors, developers, industrial flooring contractors, and forklift manufacturers in optimizing floor surfaces, setting up precise reference point grids, and assessing deviations in existing installations.
Height profiles can be evaluated with reference to elevation contours, and deviations are calculated in accordance with DIN 18202. Using our interactive floor analysis tool, developers and inspectors can determine all relevant data within a very short time and draw reliable conclusions about the condition of the floor.
